The California Highway Patrol’s Auburn division said that a male Tesla driver hit a Girl Scout stand near the front entrance of a Walmart in Granite Bay on Saturday. According to CHP Auburn, the crash happened around 3:50 p.m. at the location at Sierra College and Douglas Boulevard. CHP said that it is still unknown how old the driver of the vehicle was, but a 10-year-old and an 11-year-old were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. A 76-year-old woman was transported to the hospital with major injuries. The driver was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of substances while driving. This is a developing story.
